Community Cinema Screening: Muriel’s Wedding (1994) P.J. Hogan (R) — 1 hr 46 min

3 July @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Close-up of several orange and white striped popcorn boxes arranged in rows, each labelled “Pop Corn – Hot ’n’ Fresh,” with a softly blurred background suggesting a cinema or event setting.

In small-town Australia, socially awkward Muriel (Toni Collette) wants nothing more than to get married, though at 22 she has never had a date. With a nostalgia-heavy soundtrack, there are unexpected twists in store before this quirky romantic comedy reaches its uplifting conclusion.

Doors and the bar open at 7.30pm, with the film starting at 8.00pm. Please note that this is a cash-only event.

Booking online recommended at enquiries@clementshall.org.uk

Please note that licensing arrangements can change, so on occasion we may have to alter our proposed programme.
