Community Cinema Screening: Holy Cow (Vingt Dieux) (2024) Louise Courvoisier (15) — 1 hr 49 min

5 June @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Close-up of several orange and white striped popcorn boxes arranged in rows, each labelled “Pop Corn – Hot ’n’ Fresh,” with a softly blurred background suggesting a cinema or event setting.

In this realistic portrayal of French rural life, teenager Totone is suddenly left alone to look after his little sister. He comes up with a scheme to save their future by winning €30,000 in a competition to produce a prize-winning Comté cheese. Brilliant performances from the non-professional cast make this story entertaining and amusing.

Doors and the bar open at 7.30pm, with the film starting at 8.00pm. Please note that this is a cash-only event.

Booking online recommended at enquiries@clementshall.org.uk

Please note that licensing arrangements can change, so on occasion we may have to alter our proposed programme.
