We want to ensure that Clements Hall is used as much as possible, and that people know all about what we offer. We do this through a variety of ways:

We produce a newsletter three times a year - click here to download a copy of the current issue: Summer 17 newsletter. We also sometime produce posters and flyers to promote events. Could you help with distributing our newsletter or help deliver posters around the city? Or could you simply display a poster in your own window?

Are you artistic? Would you be interested in designing publicity material or taking photographs for publicity?

Event stands
There are often events around the city during the year where local organisations can take a stall and promote themselves to residents in York and surrounding areas. Would you be willing occasionally to run a stand to help people to find out about what we do and what we can offer?

From time to time we carry out surveys to find out what people think of Clements Hall and what activities people would like. If you would be interested in helping with this then please contact us.

The Clements Hall Newsletter is printed three times a year (March, July, November) to be distributed in the local area by Clements Hall volunteers to approx. 2,500 houses, as well as shops, libraries, etc.  A downloadable copy is also available on the website (see link above).  It is printed to an A5 format, usually 12 pages in length with a print run of approximately 3,000.  To keep costs down it is set in black plus one colour, and text and artwork for advertisements must be supplied in black-and-white only.
